The Refuge was founded in 1947 thanks to a passion for the mountains and the
determination of the Italian Alpine Club (CAI) section of Palermo to offer hikers,
sports enthusiasts, and nature lovers a comfortable and welcoming environment
where they can rest, stay, or simply reinvigorate themselves.

We are the guardians of a structure rich in history and dedication, a destination and
starting point for the knowledge of the environmental and cultural heritage of the
mountain.
